MacchinAI

Mobile app privacy policy

The MacchinAI mobile app (Android) is published by ADN PROG, SAS, 11 avenue Jules Ferry, 74200 Thonon-les-Bains, France — contact@adnprog.com. It is reserved for the teams of companies using MacchinAI: it only works with an account on a MacchinAI installation of your company.

Where your data goes

The app only connects to your company’s MacchinAI installation (or several, if you link several). Tasks, projects, emails, contacts, agent discussions and files you view or send are stored and processed there, under your company’s responsibility, just as when you use MacchinAI on a computer. When ADN PROG hosts that installation for your company, it does so as a processor, under its contract with your company. ADN PROG keeps no copy of this data in the app and neither sells nor shares it for advertising.

What the app keeps on the phone

  • The list of linked accounts (installation address, name, email).
  • One access token per account, stored in the phone’s secure vault (Android Keystore), so you do not re-enter your password each time. It is removed when you sign out, revoked when your password changes and expires after one year at most.
  • Your settings (language, fingerprint lock). Fingerprint or face are checked by Android: the app never has access to them.

Microphone, camera and files

The microphone is only used when you tap a dictation or voice-note button. Dictation uses the phone’s speech recognition (an Android service, usually Google); if it is unavailable, the recording is sent to your company’s installation to be transcribed. Voice notes, photos and files you attach are sent to your company’s installation. The app does not read your files or photos without an action on your part.

Notifications

If you accept them, alerts from your installation (task assigned, agent reply…) reach the phone through Google’s notification service (Firebase Cloud Messaging), via a relay run by ADN PROG that stores neither alert content nor phone identifiers. Alert text may therefore transit through Google; agent permission requests are sent without their details. You can turn notifications off in the phone settings.

What the app does not do

No advertising, no advertising trackers, no data resale, no location, no access to the phone’s contacts or calendar.

Retention and deletion

Data stays on your company’s installation under its own rules. On the phone, everything is erased when you remove an account or uninstall the app. From a computer, Link my phone lets you cut off a lost phone.

Your rights

For your account data, first contact your company, which is responsible for its installation. For any question about the app itself, or to exercise your GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection: contact@adnprog.com. You may also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL).
